I wrote this piece due to some responses towards homosexuality fan fiction on the net. It is also specifically written for my fictional story, 'For Better Or For Worse'. Please read this first before proceeding to read the story. ---- Basically, this story is dealing with 'Homosexuality'. Now, maybe you are starting to curse or wondering why did I have such a sick mind writing our boys as being homosexual. Before I ventured into this story, I have sought many people's views. All I can say is, there is about 2% out of 100% who felt sick about this. Obviously, that small percentage would not affect much and it's not like I'm stop writing about it anyway. When I am starting to write the prologue, something hit me. Yes, I am writing one of my 'fantasies'. But a whole new meaning to write this pop up. Have you ever said that you would not mind if your friend is a gay/lesbian but when you found out that it is true, you start to avoid them? Or maybe discrimination towards 'Homosexuality' had always been in your so-called values? Then, I feel sorry for you. You have not grown to accommodate this world. If you have read news about gays being killed in a bar or a lesbian being tied up and burn alive, then you wouldn't find it funny at all. There is this one guy in particular, whose name is Matthew Shepard (1976-1998), a 21 year-old gay college student, brutally murdered because he is a 'gay'. This is simply outrageous. Does it ever go through those people's mind that being homosexual is something that they can't control or decide? They are also humans, who should be receiving the same kind of treatment and having their own life without having to deal with people who judge on them. In a way or another, I am actually using the characters in my story to bring out the awareness that being homosexual is nothing wrong. And yes, I AM a fan of the BSB. I am not out to ruin them (as if I have that kind of impact). If you can read stories of them having a relationship with a girl whom they don't even know, why can't I (or the many others who writes homosexual-related stories) write this? Think about it. If it's wrong writing what we want to write, then I suggest you to stop reading any BSB-related fan fiction from now on. I do hope that you'll understand my REAL purpose of writing this before going any further. I have said my piece and done my part. Any views of what I had written here are very welcome and will be posted here if I find it a need. Hate mails will either be forwarded to the proper authorities or trashed without even a look.
